I am Sara Hutchison. I'm the mother of two busy teenagers and I have been in Fairbury for 14 years. I work full time and am a yoga mentor in the evenings.

I was introduced to yoga during an especially difficult period in my life. At the time I didn't realize how it was helping me both physically and emotionally. I gradually grew to honor and appreciate the strength I derived from yoga practice. I was hooked. I've taken three teacher trainings through YogaFit and plan to do more as my schedule allows. I am a student of yoga as well as a teacher, which means I am always learning and growing in my own practice.

A note about the tagline "Get Yourself Together." In the hour I spent putting this site together, this slogan popped into my head like one of those bubbles in the classic  VH-1 "Pop Up Video" show. It is a spin on the mind-body-spirit connection that often accompanies yoga discussion. There are many fitness routines and methods that benefit you physically, without offering any suitable compliment to what's going on in your heart and mind. Yoga offers both a challenging physical routine and the opportunity to concentrate, focus, and then surrender/release both physically and emotionally.

I can't tell you exactly what yoga will do for you, that part is up to you. I can only offer you my own insight by telling you that I've never left a yoga class feeling worse than when I arrived. I leave feel peaceful, strong, relieved, relaxed, and invigorated. Now it's your turn ~ Get Yourself Together!

I am available for private sessions as well as group parties. Contact me to discuss your needs.
